Mbappe’s family will travel to Madrid next week
For a meeting over player’s image rights
Kylian Mbappe‘s family will reportedly travel to Madrid next week to meet with Real Madrid‘s leaders.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has been strongly linked with a move to Los Blancos when his contract expires on June 30.
According to RMC Sport, this meeting will be over Mbappe‘s image rights in the event he decides to sign for Real Madrid this summer.
PSG’s final push to get Mbappe to renew
Mbappe‘s mother, Fayza Lamari, has this week been in Doha, where she has held various meetings with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
PSG are pressing ahead with their attempts to convince him to sign a new deal, and according to RMC Sport they are optimistic.
However, Mbappe‘s family want to listen to both sides to have all the information at their disposal so that the 23-year-old himself can make the final decision.
Real Madrid are also confident that they can secure the signing of a player who has made no secret of his dream to play for the club.
Mbappe‘s messaging in recent months has been ambiguous. Previously, his statements appeared to be a goodbye to PSG, but more recently he appears to have opened the door to a new contract.
