NDC Didn’t win, we gave them power -Dr. Bawumia, NPP Presidential Candidate, 2024.

The Leader of the New Patriotic Party when Ghana was heading to Polls, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has unveiled that the New Patriotic Party, NPP gave the National Democratic Congress, NDC, the victory in the 2024 elections since NDC, got the same numbers in 2020 and 2024 but comparing NPP’s vote in 2020 and 2024 meaning their numbers dropped.

He emphasized that the NPP ought to halt blame games and unite to make an extraordinary force for the 2028 Race, which will take place within the next four years.

The previous President, John Mahama, may be a candidate who was voted out of control in 2016 for financial challenges, he was vanquished twice by Nana Addo, the current President, who came into the scene as the savior and won the 2016 and 2020 decisions and kept Mahama in resistance till 2024.

According to Bawumia, this was not the time for New Patriotic members to battle each other for this huge defeat by losing with a gigantic edge of 1.6 million votes despite 9 voting demographics results being collated and as a matter of truth when the numbers are included to his, he still will not get the 50% + 1 vote that would’ve made him win.

For more emphasis, John Mahama got 6,328,397 votes which represents 56.55% and Bawumia got 4,657,304 speaking to, 41.61% of the voters, the entire number of voters are 11, 191, 422, rejected votes were 239,109 and the other candidates got 205,721 which is 1.83%.

This resounding triumph for the NDC comes after the ruling party, failed to reach their estimation of beating John Mahama for the third time after they accepted to have worked to the satisfaction of Ghanaians. Still, they fizzled by raising their hopes.

As the NDC arranged to lead Ghana for the next 4 years, the NPP is also going back to the drawing board to see what went off-base.
