Ghanaian gospel artiste Hanna Marfo has engaged Ghanaian artists to quit advancing nakedness in their music recordings and exhibitions.
The ‘Ye som obiara’ artist made the supplication in a meeting with Docta Kay on Accra100.5FM’s Nkran Kwanso on Thursday, 21 July 2022.
She approached Ghanaian artists to dress sufficiently and quit uncovering their bodies trying to advance their melodies.
“Our mom, Ewurama Badu, was a highlife artiste yet she dressed nicely”.
“Akosua Agyapong, who sings and moves, dresses so sufficiently”.
“We had other female vocalists: Lady Talata, Asabea Cropper, they didn’t uncover their bodies”.
“I’m begging all artists: storing your boobs and uncovering your body won’t be the justification for individuals to pay attention to your melodies. Your tunes are as of now satisfying to the ears that is the reason individuals sing them, thus, kindly, conceal”, she exhorted.
She added: “I can’t determine what will occur in 20 years, whether we’ll begin going exposed for sure, I can’t tell, thus, please, I beg you all to conceal.”
