The University of Ghana, Legon (UG) is encouraging staff and understudies to be keeping watch for associated cases with measles and rubella after an affirmation of two cases each in the Greater Accra Region.
This comes after the Ghana Health Service is said to have affirmed a flood in associated cases with the sicknesses.
A wellbeing alert, thusly, gave by the Director of University Health Services at the chief college, Dr Mark Frimpong, requested that the college local area allude suspected cases to the University Hospital or the closest wellbeing office “for fitting consideration and the board”.
The alarm records as side effects for measles dry hack, running nose, sore throat, kindled eyes (conjunctivitis), Kopliks’ spots, and skin rash.
For rubella, the side effects are sore throat, fever, migraine, conjunctivitis, enlarged lymph in the neck and hack.
