President Akufo-Addo has engaged Ghanaians to act capably and securely as they observe Easter regardless of the lifting of the Covid-19 limitations.
He expressed this while conveying his Easter message to the populace by means of Facebook on Thursday.
This will be the first Easter Celebration in quite a while since the flare-up of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I appeal to every one of you, despite the lifting of the limitations and the uplifting news about diseases, to keep on living capably and securely, so we can all have our impact in building mother Ghana. Subsequently, in this season, let us drive cautiously on the streets and keep the country in our requests consistently,” President Akufo-Addo said.
The President likewise wished Ghanaians a blissful Easter and petitioned God for the season to bring trust, confidence, flourishing, compromise and penance to all Ghanaians.
“For the benefit of my better half Rebecca, my five girls, my five grandkids and different individuals from my family and in the interest of individuals from government, I send all the best to you from Jubilee House, the seat of our country’s administration”, he referenced.
In the mean time, President Akuffo-Addo guaranteed that his administration is attempting to resuscitate the sickly economy, which he said was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic combined with the Russia-Ukraine emergency.
“Despite the ongoing troubles facing our country, I reprove us all to be roused and directed by this guarantee of salvation. I ask, consciously, every one of you to keep on having trust for incredible times soon for our country.
“Government is endeavoring to reestablish our country back onto the way of progress and flourishing – a way on which our country was outlining before the beginning of COVID-19, whose unfortunate results have been additionally exacerbated by the impacts of the Russian attack of Ukraine.
