The Mobile Money Agents Association of Ghana says the majority of their individuals will close down their versatile cash organizations following the entry of the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-LEVY).
Parliament on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, passed the Electronic Transfer Levy without any the Minority MPs, who had left before the Bill was considered at the subsequent understanding stage.
In a meeting with Citi News, General Secretary for the affiliation, Evans Otumfour, said a large portion of their clients will quit belittling their administrations which will influence the business significantly
“We might be enticed to pull out our administrations in light of the fact that the assistance as of now isn’t too worthwhile.”
