The late Ghanaian Footballer, Christian Twasam Atsu, who lost his life in a deadly earthquake that struck some parts of Turkey and Syria on 6th February 2023, will be buried on March 17, 2023.
The announcement was made during his one week observation which is on-going at the Adjiringanor Astro-Turf. The funeral rites of the late player will be held at the forecourt of the state house.
Prior to the announcement, the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, assured that government will offer a state-assisted burial for the late Christian.
The President made the revelation when Christian Atsu’s family paid him a visit at the Jubilee House to officially inform him of the player’s demise.
At the moment, the family Christian Atsu, loved ones, members of the football fraternity and general public have gathered to celebrate the life of the late footballer.
