The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has endorsed Ghana’s solicitation to concede 40,000 onlookers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off first leg match against Nigeria at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
This comes after the Ghana Football Association (GFA) solicitation to play the game in full limit arena adhering to the set down guidelines by CAF.
“The GFA thus encourage all Ghanaians to submit to all set down wellbeing and safety efforts stringently to as a matter of first importance have a fruitful match and furthermore to stay away from any assents from CAF and FIFA,” an assertion from the FA said.
It added: “In the interim, fans are encouraged to rigorously stick to the assigned observer and partners passage focuses and entryways for check of their tickets.”
The play-off match between the Black Stars and the Super Eagles will start off at 1930 GMT on Friday (25 March 25).
