Ghanaian Highlife/Hip-Hop musician and global superstar, Black Sherif has secured another global nomination at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ hitmaker has been nominated for the Best African Act together with Nigeria’s Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Tems, Tanzania’s Zuchu and South Africa’s Musa Keyss.
Black Sherif has become the second Ghanaian to earn a nomination at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The MTV EMA 2022 will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, at the multi-functional indoor arena PSD Bank Dome.
The event is set to celebrate the work of global artistes with awards and legendary performances from international music stars.
The show will be broadcast live on MTV in more than 170 countries on November 13 and will be available on Paramount+ and Pluto TV globally beginning November 13.
Harry Styles is in the lead with seven nominations, including Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video.
Following Styles with six nominations is Taylor Swift, who also earned a nod for Best Longform Video, a brand new MTV EMA 2022 category.
