Fans of Bhimnation and Shatta Movement cannot keep calm to get a collaboration between their leaders, that is Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
On the GTV Breakfast Show, a fan asked when there will be a collaboration between him (Stonebwoy) and Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy answered by saying “let’s get it done”.
For many years now, two of Ghana’s biggest Dancehall Musicians have been at each other’s throats.
Digging even deeper, one may find out that the duo have had contact many years back in the days of a DanceHall Competition held on the Tawala Beach in Accra.
The “Battle Days” event was reportedly dominated by Stonebwoy which might have led to the heightened sense of rivalry years later when the duo would become direct competitors for the biggest DanceHall awards in Ghana, arguably in Africa.
Industry players believe the duo keep the rivalry as a stunt to remain relevant.
Recently, Stonebwoy wished Shatta Wale well on his birthday and even teased him about his age.
Shatta Wale, on the other hand showed love to Stonebwoy by supporting his concert “Ashaiman to de world”.
Ghanaians and the entire world can’t keep calm to seeing a collaboration between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, when that day comes, we believe these two ”Presidents” would have indeed allowed sleeping dogs to lie and finally smoked the ”peace pipe”, but until then, let’s just keep our fingers crossed.
