Ejisuman Senior High School facing water crisis

Students of Ejisuman Senior High School (SHS) in the Ejisu Municipality are calling on the authorities to help with water supply as acute water shortage hits the School.

The students say they now have to pay GHS1.50 to get a bucket of water or spend about two days searching for water to buy; a situation they say have affected their studies.

Sradio5 News checks found some students walk to bathrooms with water in ablution cans for bathing, while those with buckets had little quantities.

One of the students, Amina Alhassan, lamented the selling cost of empty jerrycans at Ejisuman, adding that it was scarce despite the GH¢1.50 and GH¢ 2.00 prices.

The students are therefore calling on the government to provide them with potable water.
