Consumption of Neem Tree and Soursop Leaves Boost the Immune System – Health Researcher Discloses

Effa Baffo Gyamfi who is a Health Researcher and a library assistant at the UG Medical school, Korle Bu has disclosed that the intake of Neem Tree and Soursop leaves boost the Immune System. He said this during the Health Segment of Kantanka T V’s Morning Show.  

During the interview, he said that Neem Tree is best known for its anti-aging properties. Due to its antioxidant properties, neem protects the skin from harmful UV rays, pollution and other environmental factors. The vitamins and fatty acids in neem improve and maintain the elasticity of the skin, reduce wrinkles and fine lines. This makes you and your skin look rejuvenated and youthful.

He continued to say that, Neem is also beneficial in fighting against fungal infection. Its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties keep the harmful bacteria and fungi at bay. Thus, it protects the skin and keeps the skin related diseases away.

Again, he added that Soursop Leaves also helps in boosting the immune system. Soursop is a fruit that’s popular for its delicious flavor and impressive health benefits. It’s also very nutrient-dense and provides a good amount of fiber and vitamin C for very few calories, he added.

In his delivery, he made mention that Interestingly, many parts of the fruit are used medicinally, including the leaves, fruit and stems. It is also used in cooking and can even be applied to the body for a smooth and perfect skin.
