After Covid challenges sales, Heineken is cutting 8,000 jobs

Brew maker Heineken has announced plans to slash nearly 10% of its workforce due to the coronavirus pandemic after a dramatic decline in revenues.

It said 8,000 workers will go abroad, some of them at the Amsterdam headquarters.
